Limousine cattle is a breed of beef cattle native from the Limousin and Marche regions in central France. Limousine cattle are characterized by weather resistance, good fertility, longevity and easy calving. Pasture ability and conversion of bulk feeds is also excellent. Slaughter yields are high.
